From day one someone has been butchering my name everything from turning Cherie into Sherea and then some. However, the latest and greatest is turning my last name from Hurt into Hunt. This is all just a small story and actually has nothing to do with this post.

A few years ago I fell in love with this song - catchy banjo notes n' all. "Make this Leap" serenaded to you by none other than the Hunts (hence the awkward opening story).

In the song, it speaks of someone who, in a way, brought that person out of darkness and into the light. Don't get me wrong, Jesus is the one who calls me out of the darkness, but today I'm grateful for the fact that he gifted me with a man on this earth that does just the same. Who calls me out when my face is in permanent sulk mode. Who brings out the best in me. Who makes leaps with me everyday and continues to motivate to jump higher than before.

Who's that person who makes you leap? Who calls you out of darkness and reminds you that the sunrise is coming your way? Go kiss em' on the cheek and encourage them in the role they play in your life.
