I know this is hard. Like, really hard. Your bones are heavy and your heart is weary. Those nights home alone don't get any easier and neither do those meals. Where the sound of the fork bouncing off the crackling ceramic are the only conversations you'll hear. Where the thoughts jumbling in your mind are held captive because there's no one there to set them free. Moments you thought would be everything you ever expected are everything but that. Tears that feel like friends because you've gotten to know them so well. Results that you always feared. Journeys that your GPS never calculated when you left.
but you're a fighter.
And you're stronger than hell. You know what it's like to fight for love and the war has already been won. Your bones may be heavy but God is bearing your burdens. Those nights alone are actually full of the spirit and God desperately wants to break bread with you. Your thoughts matter and so do your feelings. Those moments you've always expected are already on their way and God has every intention of blessing you through your every tear.
because you're a fighter
This too shall pass. I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten Joel 2:25. He will restore your land, He will bring the greatest joy you've ever known. He will once again fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy. Job 8:21 Don't fight the person that hurt you, fight the enemy. I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. Luke 10:19 Pray over your house like your very home depends on it, because it does. Trust in His healing, direction, timing, and restoration of what is broken.
Change your perspective, love fiercely, put on your armor, and keep on fighting.
